IP Criminal Litigation and Anti-Counterfeiting Lawyer

About the role

At MC Headhunting, we are looking for an IP Criminal Litigation and Anti-Counterfeiting lawyer for a boutique specializing in Industrial Property (Barcelona or Madrid).

What you'll do

• Take responsibility for the criminal department regarding Industrial Property, including Brand protection.

• Anti-piracy at national and international levels.

• Handling criminal litigation from start to finish: complaint, Instruction phase, Abbreviated Procedure, opening of the Oral Trial.

• Preparation of all types of documents in criminal matters within the scope of Industrial Property: complaints, indictment/defense briefs, motions to expedite, etc.

• Preparation of oral conclusions, expert reports, witness statements, among others.

• Client portfolio management: direct contact with national and international clients.

• Preparation of requirements and responses to requirements.

• Negotiation with opposing parties; preparation of settlement agreements.

• Liaising with customs and other security forces regarding Industrial Property.

• Coordination of police operations.

What we're looking for

• More than 2 years of experience in a similar position.

• Degree in Law and a Master's in Legal Practice (Máster de Acceso a la Abogacía) certified in Spain.

• Specialization Master's in Industrial Property.

• Membership in the Spanish Bar.

• Advanced level of English.

• Strategic mindset, ability to handle matters with autonomy, good communication skills.

• Organized person, with the capacity to handle a high volume of files.
