Full description
At Capgemini Engineering, the world leader in engineering services, we bring together a global team of engineers, scientists, and architects to help the world's most innovative companies unleash their potential. From autonomous cars to life-saving robots, our digital and software technology experts think outside the box as they provide unique R&D and engineering services across all industries. Through our Mission Critical Communication hub, you will help shape the future of secure communications in Sweden. Working at the intersection of technology, resilience, and public safety, you will contribute to solutions that strengthen society's preparedness for the future. Join us for a career full of opportunities, where you can make a difference and where no two days are the same.
Your role
We are strengthening our mission-critical telecom team in Stockholm and have multiple openings across IP transport from designing to planning, implementation and integration.
As an IP Transport Solution Architect for Mission Critical Communications, you will bring deep expertise in carrier-grade IP transport networks, end-to-end service architecture, routing, traffic engineering and resiliency design. You will play a key role in defining, designing, and validating resilient transport solutions spanning IP Backbone, Transport and Backhaul to secure communications between the Mobile Core, Radio Access Networks, Security Platforms, Data Centres, and cloud-native environments.
In this role you will play a key role in:
- Design, implement and configure IP transport and backbone networks, including routing architecture, network segmentation, traffic isolation, resiliency, capacity planning, availability, performance and end-to-end service assurance.
- Lead end-to-end integration and implementation of IP transport and backbone solutions across RAN, Core, datacentre and service domains, including configuration, integration, testing, troubleshooting and service readiness.
- Drive IP integration with relevant network elements, ensuring routing, QoS, synchronization, resiliency and connectivity requirements are validated through implementation and acceptance.
- Establish connectivity for hosted network functions, platforms and services, defining a scalable routing architecture utilizing standard routing protocols (BGP, IS-IS, OSPF, MPLS-TE, SR-MPLS/SRv6), ensuring network scalability, performance, and operational simplicity.
- Implement and validate resilience strategies including Active-Active and Active-Standby architectures, geographic and path diversity, fast convergence mechanisms, BFD, MPLS-FRR, and TI-LFA to eliminate single points of failure and meet demanding availability objectives.
- Translate High-Level Designs (HLD) into detailed engineering and implementation Low-Level Designs (LLD), supporting deployment, integration, testing, migration and service readiness.
