Further Considerations:

Most positions are full time. However, given the fact that some enrolled students live in more rural and remote parts of California, the need for part time teachers to serve these students locally is crucial. Also, as a school with open enrollment, there are times when there are not enough students yet to fill a full-time position, therefore providing an opening for a part time teaching position. A part time position involves all of the same responsibilities as a full-time position but bears a reduced class load.

Assignment of Students:

Students will be assigned to teachers by the Director or designee according to a number of variables. In general, the Director or designee will look to assign students by geographical location and/or grade level. Full time classes will be filled prior to assigning students to part time teachers.
