The Role
We are seeking an IT Operations Administrator to deliver excellent employee support and help scale IT operations across a distributed remote workforce. This is a hands-on role spanning endpoint management, identity and access, SaaS administration, and employee onboarding and offboarding.
You’ll independently own complex issues and operational improvements from investigation through implementation. You’ll combine strong technical troubleshooting with practical use of automation and AI-assisted tools to reduce manual work, improve reliability, and help employees work securely and effectively.
What You’ll Do
- Own employee technology support from investigation through verified resolution across Slack, ticketing systems, and remote sessions; troubleshoot complex macOS, iOS/iPadOS, browser, connectivity, authentication, and SaaS issues, communicate clear next steps, and participate in the IT on-call rotation for urgent issues outside normal business hours
- Manage the employee technology lifecycle, including onboarding, role changes, leaves of absence, and offboarding; coordinate timely account and access changes, device provisioning, replacements, returns, and remote logistics
- Administer company endpoints through Iru/Kandji, Jamf, or a similar MDM platform; own software deployments, configuration profiles, OS update rollouts, device health, and compliance follow-up, including testing changes and resolving exceptions
- Own day-to-day administration and operational health of Okta, Google Workspace, Slack, Zoom, and related SaaS platforms; troubleshoot configuration, SSO, provisioning, groups, permissions, and integrations with an understanding of downstream impacts
- Maintain accurate device and application inventories, conduct access reviews, and coordinate license clean-up with application owners; apply least-privilege practices and verify that access changes are complete
- Build, test, document, and maintain scripts and workflow automations, using administrative tools and AI-assisted tooling to reduce repetitive work and improve reliability; validate AI-generated outputs, protect sensitive data, and ensure automations have monitoring, failure handling, and clear ownership
