Full description
The Role
You'll own the technology experience for every Cardiff employee and help keep our Salesforce environment secure, accurate, and easy to use. IT operations come first: getting people set up, keeping devices and access in order, and making sure the tools our teams rely on just work.
Alongside IT, you'll handle day-to-day Salesforce administration: users, permissions, data quality, reports, and simple automation. You'll work closely with our senior Salesforce Administrator, Engineering, and teams across Sales, RevOps, Underwriting, Marketing, and People.
This is an administrator role, not a developer role. It suits someone early in their career who likes owning a queue, solving problems end to end, and growing their skills in a fast-moving, regulated environment.
What You'll Own
Employee IT & Devices
A new employee should arrive on day one with everything they need to work.
- Order, provision, and prepare laptops and equipment before new-hire start dates
- Set up employee accounts and access across our SaaS tools and Salesforce
- Deactivate accounts and recover equipment promptly during offboarding
- Troubleshoot common hardware, software, and access issues
- Maintain accurate equipment and asset records
- Keep onboarding and offboarding checklists clear and current
IT Support & Access Security
- Own incoming IT and Salesforce requests from Sales, RevOps, Underwriting, Marketing, and People
- Understand what each requester needs, prioritize the queue, and communicate status without being chased
- Run periodic access reviews across key systems and monitor user activity
- Follow security best practices for accounts, passwords, licenses, and permissions
- Learn and troubleshoot the SaaS applications our teams use every day
Salesforce Administration
- Manage users, roles, profiles, permission sets, field-level security, and license assignments
- Configure fields, picklist values, record types, page layouts, list views, and validation rules
- Build and maintain reports and dashboards for business teams
- Build and update simple Flows, such as record-triggered and screen Flows, with senior review
- Resolve Salesforce support tickets and help users get the most out of the system
- Escalate complex issues, such as automation conflicts or integration errors, with clear notes on what you found
Data Quality
Teams should be able to trust what they see in Salesforce.
- Identify and merge duplicates
- Run imports, exports, and mass updates with Data Loader or similar tools
