18 Months Contract Role
Our client in the insurance sector is seeking an experienced IT Software Engineer to develop, enhance and support business applications. Reporting to the Head of IT, you will work closely with business users and vendors to deliver solutions across Finance, Claims, Investment and Reinsurance.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop and maintain in-house applications and system interfaces using .NET, C# and SQL Server.
- Gather business requirements, assess system impacts and prepare functional and technical specifications.
- Provide hands-on application and database support, troubleshoot issues and improve system performance.
- Manage integrations between core business applications, including Finance and Reinsurance systems.
- Evaluate vendor solutions and coordinate application enhancements, change requests and implementation.
- Manage small to medium-sized projects from requirements gathering through testing, user training and deployment.
- Work with infrastructure and security teams to ensure solutions meet application security standards and applicable MAS Technology Risk Management guidelines.
- Maintain clear system documentation and follow software development best practices.
Requirements
