IT Support & AI Developer

Salary: £25,000 - 30,000 per yearRequirements:

• A proactive attitude, willingness to learn, and demonstrable coding experience or personal projects; previous commercial experience is not essential.
• A strong interest in AI, emerging technologies, and digital innovation.
• Coding or scripting experience gained through education, personal projects, or employment.
• An interest in IT support and troubleshooting technical issues.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills and a helpful, approachable manner.
• A willingness to take initiative and develop new technical skills.
• A degree or qualification in Computer Science, IT, Software Development, or a related subject would be beneficial but is not essential.
• Knowledge of Next.js, Python, JavaScript, AI tools, Microsoft 365, automation, or software development would be advantageous.

Responsibilities:

• Provide first-line IT support, troubleshooting hardware, software, and general technical issues.
• Assist with setting up and configuring computers, laptops, user accounts, and applications.
• Support colleagues with IT queries and escalate complex issues as needed.
• Explore and implement opportunities to use AI tools to improve efficiency and productivity.
• Assist with coding, scripting, and developing digital solutions.
• Research emerging AI technologies, tools, and applications that could benefit our business.
• Identify opportunities to automate repetitive tasks and streamline processes.
• Assist with testing, maintaining, and documenting IT systems and solutions.
• Support general IT administration and help maintain good IT security practices.
• Maintain our company website using Next.js.
• Support the transition of data from the historical company to the new provider.
