About the role
PT Sinergi Daya Mitra is seeking an experienced IT Technical Support VTL on a contract basis to join their team based in South Tangerang, Banten. In this role, you will be responsible for providing technical support and troubleshooting for the company's information technology systems and infrastructure.
What you'll be doing
- Handle all client storage systems with a total of 37 units (Production, DR, and UAT).
- Manage switching systems that connect storage to servers.
- Provide 24/7 support for BSD and DCI (Data Center) sites.
- Support IT projects that require storage utilization.
- Act as implementer and perform monitoring to ensure storage systems are in good condition (health check).
What we're looking for
- Minimum Diploma (D3) or Bachelor’s Degree (S1) in Computer Science or related fields.
- Experience in Linux server administration is a plus.
- Proficient in Linux operating systems.
- Experience with VTL and data center hardware is required.
- Experience with database tools is preferred.
- Willing to work in shifts.
