DescriptionPosition Summary :
We are seeking a mid-level Java Developer to join our Payments Technology team. This role is responsible for developing, enhancing, and supporting high-volume payment origination, processing, and settlement applications that support customer and colleague-facing channels. The ideal candidate will have strong Java and microservices development experience, exposure to cloud technologies, and experience supporting mission-critical financial applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and support Java-based applications and microservices.
- Participate in solution design, code reviews, testing, deployment, and production support activities.
- Develop and maintain REST APIs, file-processing solutions, and payment processing services.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues involving application integrations, databases, middleware, and cloud platforms.
- Collaborate with business analysts, testers, architects, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Support highly available production systems and participate in on-call support rotations.
- Maintain technical documentation, developer standards, troubleshooting guides, and onboarding materials.
- Contribute to Agile delivery processes and continuous improvement initiatives.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a Related Field
- 3-7+ Years of Hands on Java/J2EE, Spring, Spring Boot, REST APIs, JSON, and Microservices.

- Experience with incoming/outgoing file processing and distributed application development.
