Java Lead - Spring Boot/Microservices Architecture

Key Responsibilities :1. Technical & Development :

• Design and develop Spring Boot Microservices.

• Build and maintain RESTful APIs.

• Apply microservices design patterns (API Gateway, Service Discovery, Config Server).

• Implement security using JWT / OAuth2.

• Ensure code quality, performance, and scalability.

• Handle production issues and root cause analysis.

2. Microservices & Integration :

• Implement synchronous and asynchronous communication.

• Work with Kafka / RabbitMQ for event-driven systems.

• Manage inter-service communication and fault tolerance.

• Handle database design and data consistency.

3. Team Leadership :

• Lead and mentor 35 developers.

• Perform code reviews and guide best practices.

• Assist in task planning, estimation, and delivery.

• Coordinate with QA, DevOps, and Product teams.

Required Technical Skills :1. Mandatory :

• Java 8+

• Spring Boot (REST, Security, Data JPA)

• Microservices Architecture

• Spring Cloud (Config, Eureka, Gateway, Feign)

• REST APIs, JSON

• Hibernate / JPA

• PostgreSQL / MySQL

• Git, Maven/Gradle

2. Good to Have :

• Kafka / RabbitMQ

• Redis caching

• Docker & basic Kubernetes knowledge

• CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins / GitHub Actions)

• Cloud exposure (AWS / Azure / GCP)

3. Preferred :

• Experience in production microservices systems.

• Agile / Scrum experience.

• Exposure to monitoring & logging tools.
