Java Software Engineer (Junior, Mid-Level or Senior)

About the team:

The PRIME Architects Team is responsible for all aspects of the software development life cycle including requirements gathering & analysis, design, coding, unit testing, implementation, and maintenance of the code. As part of our modernization journey, our teams leverage cloud-native technologies, AWS, Kubernetes, microservices, DevOps practices, and AI-enabled development capabilities to transform how payment solutions are delivered.

What you will be doing:

• Design and develop code independently and in cooperation with the Team Leader using various tools and owning responsibility for quality assurance of their development.
• Review deliverables for content, accuracy, and potential system impacts for assigned tasks.
• Review deliverables for alignment with objectives and provide feedback and recommendations.
• Gain experience in end-to-end project implementation, delivery, and awareness of SDLC.
• Problem solving and client support.
• Communicate and enforcing coding standards.
• Interact with a diverse range of teams, including project managers, senior management, and clients for successful implementation of given solutions.
• Work closely with international banking clients and internal stakeholders to deliver business and technology transformation initiatives while developing deep expertise in the payments industry.
• Support integration with external systems, payment networks, digital channels, and third-party solutions, including data migration from legacy platforms.
• Promote engineering excellence through software quality, automation, continuous improvement, and adherence to industry standards and compliance requirements.
• Contribute to modernization initiatives leveraging cloud-native technologies, microservices, containerization, DevOps practices, and AI-assisted software development capabilities.

What you bring:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or related discipline.
• Software development experience with Java.
• Very good understanding of object-oriented design and development principles.
