S2Alliance Inc. is seeking an experienced Java Software Engineer to support a suite of software applications for U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP). This role is primarily focused on Java backend development, Spring/Spring Boot, microservices, REST APIs, and database technologies. Experience with React or Angular is a plus but is not required.

Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise applications using Java/J2EE technologies.
- Develop backend services and applications using Spring Framework, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, and microservices architecture.
- Design, develop, and integrate RESTful APIs and web services.
- Develop scalable and reliable solutions for enterprise applications.
- Work with relational and NoSQL databases, including Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL, and MongoDB.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code following established software engineering standards.
- Participate in code reviews, unit testing, application releases, troubleshooting, and technical documentation.
- Collaborate with developers, architects, business analysts, and other stakeholders in an Agile development environment.
- Support application enhancements, modernization initiatives, and ongoing maintenance activities.
