Your new company
Join a growing, values-led organisation based in Collingwood that is continuing to improve the way its systems, processes and teams work together. You'll be joining a collaborative, down-to-earth environment where people are encouraged to ask questions, share ideas and get involved in the business.
With a relaxed and social culture, this is a great opportunity for an early-career Business Analyst who wants broad exposure, plenty of stakeholder interaction and the chance to develop their BA skill set.
Your new role
As a Junior Business Analyst, you'll work across the organisation to support business-wide change, process improvements and system initiatives. You'll engage with stakeholders at all levels, helping understand how processes currently work, where the challenges sit and how they can be improved.
You will:
- Facilitate discussions and workshops with stakeholders to understand business needs and priorities.
- Map current and future-state processes, identifying gaps, pain points, dependencies and improvement opportunities.
- Gather and document requirements, user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Help align stakeholders, priorities and processes across different areas of the business.
- Coordinate actions, dependencies and priorities to keep work progressing.
- Support UAT and business change activities.
- Write test scripts and test cases and undertake hands-on functional and regression testing.
- Document issues and defects and work closely with technical teams through resolution.
- Maintain clear process documentation, workflows and supporting materials.
- Support the successful rollout and adoption of system and process changes.
What you'll need to succeed
We are looking for someone relatively early in their BA career who is curious, organised and confident dealing with people across the business.
Ideally, you'll bring:
- Around 1-2 years' experience in Business Analysis, UAT/testing, systems implementation/support or process analysis.
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills and the confidence to work with people at different levels.
- Experience gathering requirements and documenting business processes.
- An understanding of process mapping, user stories and acceptance criteria.
- The confidence to facilitate conversations or workshops and ask the right questions.
