Job Description:
This is a hands-on learning role for someone early in their career who wants to build a strong foundation in AWS and DevOps. You'll
work alongside experienced engineers to support, monitor, and automate the infrastructure behind our payment gateway. You won't be
expected to know everything on day one — we'll invest in your growth through mentorship, pairing, and progressively larger
responsibilities. What matters most is curiosity, a willingness to learn, and attention to detail (because in payments, the details
matter).
Responsibilities:
What You'll Do
- Help monitor the health and performance of our payment platform using CloudWatch dashboards and alerts
- Assist with routine infrastructure tasks on AWS (EC2, S3, RDS, Load Balancers, Route 53) under guidance
- Write and maintain simple automation scripts (Bash, Python) to reduce manual work
- Support CI/CD pipelines that deploy our applications
- Help investigate and troubleshoot issues, learning to read logs and metrics to find root causes
- Assist with routine maintenance: patching, backups, certificate renewals, and access requests
- Document procedures, runbooks, and what you learn along the way
- Participate in team stand-ups, code reviews, and incident reviews to learn how we operate
- Grow toward participating in an on-call rotation (with support) as you gain experience
