Full description
We are looking for an experienced Principal DevOps Engineer to provide technical leadership and contribute to the architecture, automation, deployment, and operation of cloud-based software products.
This is a highly technical role within an Agile engineering environment, working closely with Development, QA, Operations, Architecture, and Product Management teams. The successful candidate will help define and implement scalable cloud infrastructure, modern DevOps practices, automated deployment processes, and reliable CI/CD solutions.
The ideal candidate has extensive hands-on experience with AWS, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), CI/CD, Kubernetes, Docker, automation, and cloud architecture, along with the ability to solve complex infrastructure, security, and software delivery challenges.
Responsibilities
- Participate in cloud architecture, infrastructure design, and software development initiatives.
- Provide technical leadership and collaborate with engineering teams to solve complex infrastructure, security, scalability, and deployment challenges.
- Design, build, maintain, and optimize cloud infrastructure primarily on AWS.
- Work with AWS services including EC2, VPC, S3, ELB, RDS, Route 53, WorkSpaces, CloudWatch, and CloudTrail.
- Design and implement infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) technologies such as Terraform and CloudFormation.
- Build and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub, and related technologies.
- Automate application and infrastructure deployment processes to improve reliability, consistency, and delivery speed.
- Manage and support containerized environments using Docker, Kubernetes, ECS, and related technologies.
- Build automated deployment and configuration processes using configuration management technologies such as Chef or Puppet.
- Manage cloud infrastructure administration, including user provisioning, permissions, infrastructure components, and workflow configurations.
