Role Summary:

We are looking for a Team Lead - Performance Marketing to drive and optimize our paid media campaigns across Google platforms (Search, Display, YouTube, Discovery, Shopping). This is a hands-on role for someone who is highly analytical, metrics-obsessed (ROAS, CPA, CPL, CAC), and comfortable owning day-to-day campaign execution while mentoring 1 - 2 junior team members. You will work closely with the Senior Manager to translate growth targets into campaign strategy and results.

Key Responsibilities:

• Campaign execution: Execute, manage, and optimize Google Ads campaigns (Search, Display, YouTube, Shopping, App Campaigns) to hit ROI targets.

• Day-to-day ownership: Own audience research, budget pacing, ad creation, A/B testing, and bid optimization.

• Performance monitoring: Track daily performance metrics, flag trends or anomalies early, and take corrective action proactively.

• Creative collaboration: Brief and review ad copies, banners, and video assets with the creative team for campaign needs.

• Research: Conduct keyword research, competitor analysis, and customer segmentation to sharpen targeting.

• Reporting: Build and maintain performance reports/dashboards, translating data into clear, actionable recommendations for leadership.

• Budget management: Manage assigned ad budgets efficiently while holding CPA/ROAS targets.

• Mentoring: Guide and mentor 1 - 2 junior executives on campaign execution and reporting.

• Platform expertise: Stay current on Google Ads platform updates, beta features, and industry best practices.

• Cross-functional coordination: Work with analytics and product teams on attribution tracking, pixel integrations, and conversion rate optimization.

• Experimentation: Support and run experiments across bidding strategies, audience segments, and creative formats.

Requirements:

• 3 - 5 years of hands-on experience managing Google Ads campaigns with demonstrable results.

• Solid grasp of Performance Marketing KPIs (ROAS, CPA, CTR, Quality Score, Conversion Rate).

• Working knowledge of campaign structuring and bidding strategies (manual, tROAS, tCPA, Max Conversions, etc.).

• Hands-on experience with Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and Looker Studio (or similar reporting tools).

• Familiarity with audience strategies: remarketing, customer match lists, in-market, and custom intent audiences.

• Strong analytical and Excel/Sheets skills - comfortable deriving insights from raw data.

• Prior experience in e-commerce, fintech, edtech, SaaS, or high-growth startup environments is a strong plus.

• Good communication skills and comfort working cross-functionally with creative, product, and analytics teams.

• A self-starter who is detail-oriented, growth-minded, and enjoys the day-to-day grind of campaign optimization.

Good to Have:

• Exposure to other paid channels (Meta Ads, LinkedIn, Programmatic).
