Position Summary

Fully in charge of laboratory operation for conducting food microbial tests internally and participate in the regular CNAS audit, therefore, a professional laboratory technician is required. He/She is responsible for the organization, management and development of laboratory, and the maintenance of the efficiency in operation.

Primary Responsibility

Manage and monitor the operation of laboratory testing

Preview CNAS document and participate the audit
Develop and review microbiological testing menu
Perform and oversee daily microbiological tests
Evaluates test performance, provide feedback and initiate recommendations regarding laboratory procedures and testing issues
Analyze test results, provide recommendations, prepare test report within schedule and documented
Conduct routine maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment
Order laboratory chemicals and consumables, and perform monthly stock taking
Update and review microbiological guidelines
Conduct microbial test training to team member
Undertake any other duties assigned

Requirements

Diploma holder or above in Food Science /Chemistry/Biotechnology or other related disciplines
At least 5 years of relevant working experience in microbiological laboratory testing
Commercial laboratory working experience is preferred
Knowledge and experience in ISO/IEC 17025 is a must
Good command of both spoken and written in English and Chinese
Independent, well-organized and efficient
Scheduled 5-day per week, Operational staff
