Must have
- 5+ years in legal operations, contract operations, or contract management, in-house at a SaaS or technology company (fast-growing strongly preferred). A J.D. is welcome but not required.

- Experience connecting legal systems to CRM (HubSpot, Salesforce), e-signature, and automation tools.
- Direct Experience with AI-driven tools for legal work, with a working sense of where they save time and where they quietly introduce risk
- Experience connecting legal systems to other business systems (for example, a CRM such as HubSpot or Salesforce, e-signature, or workflow automation tools).
- Strong understanding of SaaS agreements, NDAs, and Order Forms -enough to build playbooks and know what to escalate.
- Project management skills and comfort with data: you can scope a project, drive it across teams, and show measurable results.
- Familiarity with US and EU privacy law (GDPR, HIPAA, CPRA) and the contracts behind it — BAAs and DPAs is a plus.

About the Role
We are looking for a Legal Operations & Contracts Manager to build and run the systems, processes, and tools that let a small Legal team keep pace with a fast-growing AI company. Reporting into our General Counsel you will own Legal’s technology stack, with Ironclad as our system of record for contracts, and you will identify and deploy AI-driven tools that make Legal faster without introducing new risk.
This is a builder role. You will design the workflows, templates, playbooks, and integrations that move deals through Legal quickly and consistently, and you will serve as the operational backbone for Commercial and Enterprise Counsel. You will also run day-to-day contract operations, including intake, standard paper, and management of our enterprise contract review vendor, using good judgment about what to handle, what to hold, and when to escalate.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and own Legal’s technology stack. Set the roadmap and standards, and own tool selection, implementation, renewal, and return on investment.
- Evaluate, pilot, and deploy AI-driven legal tools (contract review and redlining support, clause extraction, knowledge retrieval, and self-service intake), making sound build-versus-buy decisions.
