As a Manager or Assistant Manager, Commercial Assurance serving Energy, Resources and Industrials clients, you will lead and execute contract compliance audits focused on complex commercial arrangements. Your work will include joint venture audits, cost-of-service reviews, and broader contract compliance reviews designed to assess whether costs, revenues, fees, and other commercial terms are calculated, allocated, billed, and reported in accordance with contractual requirements.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Interpreting complex agreements
- Identifying key financial, operational, and compliance obligations
- Developing risk-based scopes and work programs
- Conducting interviews and process walkthrough
- Analyzing transactional and financial data
- Testing billings, cost allocations, rates, mark-ups, overheads, recoveries, revenue-sharing arrangements, and other contractual provisions to identify overcharges, under-recoveries, control gaps, and opportunities to strengthen commercial outcomes.
You will also:
- Manage day-to-day engagement delivery, coordinate with legal, engineering, finance, supply chain, and other subject matter specialists, review the work of junior team members, and maintain clear, well-supported audit documentation.
- Communicate findings to operators, partners, suppliers, contractors, and senior stakeholders; support the resolution of disputed items and potential recoveries; develop practical recommendations; and prepare concise reports that clearly explain contractual exceptions, financial impacts, and required actions.
