Manager - Strategic Business Development & CXO Engagement

Manager - Strategic Business Development & CXO Engagement

We are looking for an exceptionally articulate, intellectually curious and commercially driven professional to lead strategic business development across the U.S. market.

This role is for someone who can research a company deeply, understand its context, identify where an opportunity may exist, articulate a compelling reason to engage and earn the attention of senior decision-makers.

This is not a volume-driven lead-generation role.

It is a role for someone who believes that great business development begins with great thinking, great writing and genuine understanding of the person on the other side of the conversation.

The Role:

You will own the strategic outbound business-development process - from identifying high-potential accounts and researching decision-makers to initiating conversations, developing relationships and creating qualified opportunities.

You will be expected to bring structure, intelligence and commercial judgment to the process.

What You Will Do:

• Identify and prioritize high-value target accounts, industries and decision-makers across the U.S.

• Conduct meaningful research into companies, markets, business models, leadership priorities and potential areas of opportunity.

• Translate research and insight into sharp, highly personalized executive-level communication.

• Engage CXOs and senior business leaders through thoughtful, credible and commercially relevant conversations.

• Develop relationships with decision-makers by understanding their priorities rather than relying on generic sales pitches.

• Qualify opportunities through intelligent discovery, sound judgment and a clear understanding of business fit.

• Develop and continuously refine account-based outreach strategies, messaging and engagement approaches.

• Build disciplined prospecting and follow-up processes using Zoho CRM, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, data-enrichment and automation tools.

• Use AI thoughtfully to accelerate research, account intelligence, personalization, meeting preparation and follow-up - without compromising authenticity or judgment.

• Analyze outreach, engagement and conversion data to identify patterns and continuously improve the approach.

• Maintain high-quality prospect intelligence and CRM discipline.

• Work closely with senior leadership to refine market priorities, messaging and business-development strategy.

Who Will Thrive Here:

We are looking for someone with intellectual horsepower and commercial instinct.

You are likely to be someone who:

• Writes exceptionally well - with clarity, precision, structure and an understanding of how to communicate with senior professionals.

• Can turn research into a compelling narrative rather than simply repeating information found online.

• Is comfortable speaking with CXOs and senior executives and can hold a conversation that feels intelligent, relevant and worth their time.

• Is naturally curious and enjoys understanding how businesses operate, compete and grow.

• Thinks logically and systematically, and is comfortable breaking complex problems into structured approaches.

• Is methodical, process-oriented and highly organized, with strong attention to detail.

• Has the discipline to consistently execute while also having the curiosity to question and improve the process.

• Is commercially ambitious and takes personal ownership of outcomes.

• Is persistent without becoming transactional or aggressive.

• Is comfortable working independently and operating with a high degree of accountability.

• Sees technology and AI as tools to amplify thinking and execution, rather than substitutes for either.

What We Expect:

• 7+ years of experience in Business Development, B2B Sales, Inside Sales, Strategic Outreach or a similar role focused on U.S.-based clients.

• Demonstrated experience engaging senior decision-makers, preferably CXO and executive-level stakeholders.

• Exceptional written and spoken English.

• Strong understanding of U.S. business culture and executive communication.

• Proven experience in outbound prospecting, account research and consultative business development.

• Hands-on experience with CRM platforms, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, email sequencing, data-enrichment and sales automation.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving ability.

• Proficiency with generative AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini or similar platforms, particularly for research, account intelligence, personalization and workflow optimization.

• A demonstrated ability to build structured, repeatable processes and improve them using data.

What Sets This Role Apart:

You will not be measured simply by how many calls you make, emails you send or names you add to a database.

We care about the quality of your thinking, the quality of your communication and the quality of the opportunities you create.

The objective is simple:

• Find the right companies.

• Understand them deeply.

• Reach the right people.

• Earn their attention.

• Create meaningful conversations.

• Build commercially valuable relationships.

If you are someone who enjoys researching a business, crafting the perfect message, engaging a senior executive in an intelligent conversation and turning that conversation into an opportunity, you may be exactly the person we are looking for.
