Job Description

We are looking for a senior manager to build and run a team to solve complex problems of Wi-Fi performance in the real world. You will be responsible for driving our products to the highest possible performance, building systems that dynamically retune Wi-Fi settings as the environment changes, and creating tools that accurately project the best way to deploy 802.11ac Wi-Fi networks in any situation.

You will hire and train a team of software developers in Sunnyvale, CA and Portland, OR. Acting as a hands-on software development manager, you will spend about half your time leading your team, and the other half innovating solutions and writing code in C/C++. Your team will make a simulator that acts as the back-end engine for deployment planning tools while also providing a way to conduct regular automated testing of Wi-Fi devices for high performance and reliability. Last but not least, you will play a critical role in ensuring that new products achieve the maximum performance possible from their components.
