Full description
Sawtooth Software is known in the market research industry as the best in the world at choice analytics (product optimization, pricing research, and more). Hundreds of well-known companies around the world (Google, Microsoft, Honda, P&G, 3M, etc.) use our software for product development, pricing research, and market simulations. For most of our history, our reputation has spread by word of mouth, with very little formal marketing behind it. We're working to change that. We're looking for a hands-on marketer who's ready to take the lead on day-to-day marketing, learn fast, and help more researchers find what we build.
What this role looks like
As Sawtooth's Marketing Specialist, you'll play a key role in helping us plan and execute our marketing efforts. You'll work hands-on across a variety of marketing activities, including email marketing, content creation, campaign coordination, and performance reporting. While you'll be the primary person supporting many of our marketing initiatives, you'll work closely with our Chief Growth Officer and collaborate with teams across the organization to learn, grow, and make an impact.
We're looking for someone who is proactive, curious, and eager to learn. You'll be encouraged to share ideas, take ownership of projects, and follow through on initiatives that help drive results. Success in this role comes from a willingness to learn, collaborate, and continuously improve.
Responsibilities
Email and campaigns
- Build and send email campaigns, newsletters, and event invitations in HubSpot.
- Manage lists, segments, and simple automated sequences.
- Track opens, clicks, and conversions, and report on what's working and what isn't.
Content
- Work with our research experts to write and edit content for our website, blog, LinkedIn, and email, converting their knowledge into content people want to read.
- Use AI tools to work faster without lowering the bar on quality.
Events and webinars
- Coordinate webinars, free trainings, and industry conference sponsorships.
- Handle tradeshow and industry event promotion, logistics, and follow-up to help generate and track leads and conversions.
Website
- Keep our website current, build landing pages, and apply basic SEO practices.
Go-to-market with sales and product
- Help plan and run launches for new Lighthouse Studio and Discover features, including announcements, launch emails, and release notes.
- Create and update sales materials such as one-pagers, case studies, slide decks, and demo leave-behinds.
