The Kooks production team is looking for a highly motivated and skilled Material Handler to join our fast-paced team. Material Handler/Cage Attendant for its production team. Under the direction of the Production Supervisor, this position receives materials and distributes accordingly. This position is also responsible for entering and maintaining appropriate inventory levels of stock within the hardware cage.

Accurately read work orders and follow oral instructions to pull parts and materials of various sizes and weights for jobs
Issue and receive materials to/from jobs using MRP system
Complete periodic cycle counts and inventory when needed
Enter inventory transactions (in or out) directly into computer system
Identify materials needed for staging orders for the next operation
Perform, report cycle counts, and report inventory inconsistencies to Team Lead
Pull and put away all material accurately
Run material routes throughout the manufacturing plant
Organize stock using forklifts/ pallet jacks, pallets, etc.
Document orders, materials, and any stock movement
Deliver product items to designated staging areas/workstations
Help monitor first in-first out control of inventory to production
Support departmental goals and objectives for quality, production, and equipment maintenance
Comply with all established safety/ housekeeping procedures and policies
Other duties as assigned
