Fab&Assembly Department

Day Shift: $20/hr

7:00 AM to 7:00 PM

Night Shift: $20/hr + $2 night differential

7:00 PM to 7:00 AM

Shifts are on a rotating 2-week schedule:

Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday (48 hours)

Week 2: Sunday, Wednesday, Thursday (36 hours)

This rotation schedule provides:

-Every other weekend off

-14 working days per month

-Guaranteed overtime every other week

The Material Handling Specialist role is integral to manufacturing operations at Tangent Technologies. This position focuses on the safe, efficient movement and staging of materials within the facility using sit-down forklifts.

Role and Responsibilities / Essential Functions

Material Transportation: Responsible for operating sit-down forklifts to relocate finished goods and raw materials throughout the facility
Material Staging: Accountable for staging raw materials for production operators, ensuring a smooth workflow.
Oversized Handling: Specialized in managing and loading oversized pallets and staging pellets for operators.
Independent Work: Ability to complete tasks autonomously, requiring minimal supervision.
Safety Compliance: Adherence to all safety guidelines to maintain a secure work environment.
