Job Description
We are seeking a talented Mid-Level M&A Associate Attorney to join our New York team. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced corporate transactional attorney looking to work on sophisticated public and private mergers and acquisitions.In this role, you will:
- Represent sophisticated clients in public and private mergers, acquisitions, and other strategic corporate transactions.
- Draft, review, and negotiate merger agreements, purchase agreements, and other complex transactional documents.
- Manage legal due diligence, identify transaction risks, and support deal structuring and execution.
- Assist with negotiating key commercial and legal terms throughout the transaction lifecycle.
- Coordinate transaction processes, documentation, and closings for complex M&A matters.
- Collaborate with attorneys across corporate, finance, tax, antitrust, and other practice areas.
- Advise clients on corporate governance and transaction-related legal considerations.
- Take ownership of meaningful deal responsibilities while continuing to develop your transactional expertise.
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
