Mid-Market Account Executive

100% in-person Mid-Market AE in Downtown Fort Lauderdale. $200,000 OTE (uncapped) + equity. 4+ years quota-carrying sales (tech or selling into manufacturing, construction, field services).

Location: Downtown Fort Lauderdale, FL

Work Environment: 100% in person

Role Type: Full-time

Reports To: Co-founder / CRO

Compensation: $200,000 On Target Earnings (Uncapped) + Equity

Who You Are

You are a hunter.

You have carried a real quota for years, and you built that track record by creating opportunity, not waiting for it. You know how to open doors with senior buyers, run a full-cycle deal, and own your number with a strong team around you.

You assume that about half of your pipeline has to come from you. That does not intimidate you. That is how you like to operate.

You are competitive, coachable, and honest in your forecast. You take ownership when a deal slips, and you raise the people around you.

You get energy from hard conversations, high standards, and a number that actually means something. You want to work with hungry people who push each other to get better, not with arrogance or ego.

We are especially drawn to people who have been promoted because they earned more responsibility, and to people who have achieved excellence in their personal life. That might mean you played an instrument at a high level, competed as a D1 athlete, or pursued something else with the same discipline and standard. We care that you know what it takes to get really good at something hard.

You are probably a fit if:

• You have 4+ years of quota-carrying sales experience (tech sales, or selling directly into manufacturing, construction, field services, or other ERP-heavy industries)
• You can hunt and close without needing a fully built inbound machine
• You want to sit next to founders and an early SDR team in person every day
• You are excited by mid-market deals that require multi-threading and real discovery
• You have been promoted in your career, or you have a track record of excellence outside of work
• Bonus: you already sell a data infrastructure product or platform

You are probably not a fit if:

• You want remote or hybrid (this role is 100% in person)
• You are not comfortable hunting (most of our outbound pipeline comes from cold calling today)
• You have never carried a quota, or you have less than four years of quota-carrying experience
• You prefer enterprise-only motions with long sales cycles
• You want a fully matured playbook with no ambiguity

If the first list feels like you and the second list does not, keep reading.

About Synopsis

Every organization is trying to figure out how to leverage AI to operate faster, make better decisions, and create a competitive advantage.

But there is a massive problem standing in the way: data.

Organizations have critical information scattered across dozens of systems, databases, applications, spreadsheets, and platforms. Before companies can truly become AI-enabled, they need their data organized, connected, and accessible.

That is the problem Synopsis is solving. We have clear product-market fit, adoption is growing quickly, and we are building the team to capitalize on it.

Our goal is ambitious: Make Synopsis a household name.

The Opportunity

You will own a mid-market book, run full-cycle deals from first conversation through signature, and build pipeline alongside SDR-sourced and founder-led opportunities.

Typical deals land in the $30,000 to $75,000 revenue band, with a sales cycle of about 2 months.

This is still an early GTM seat. The playbook is real, and you will help refine it while you execute.

What You'll Be Responsible For

• Own new mid-market revenue against an annual quota
• Build and manage a healthy pipeline (about half self-generated)
• Prospect into target accounts alongside SDR and founder opportunities
• Run discovery, demos, multi-threaded deal strategy, and close
• Sell to Director+ and executive buyers in operationally complex organizations
• Forecast accurately and keep CRM clean
• Partner with SDRs, founders, product, and customer onboarding
• Hand off closed deals cleanly and feed market learning back into GTM
• Hit or exceed activity, pipeline, and revenue targets
• Take coaching seriously and help raise the standard of the sales floor
• Use AI to be more productive without outsourcing your thinking

Required Experience

At least 4 years of quota-carrying sales experience is required.

That experience can come from tech sales, or from selling directly into the industries we sell into (manufacturing, construction, field services, and other ERP-heavy industries). Prior tech sales is a strong plus, not a hard requirement, if you have already sold into those industries.

We are especially interested in candidates who have:

• Consistently attained or exceeded quota
• Generated a meaningful share of their own pipeline
• Sold to complex operational buyers
• Worked a sales cycle measured in weeks to a couple of months
• Been promoted based on performance
• Demonstrated excellence in something hard outside of work, such as music at a high level or D1 athletics
• Worked in a structured sales environment with coaching, methodology, and forecast discipline
• Managed full-cycle deals from prospecting through close

Strong Plus

• Recent tech sales experience
• Selling a data infrastructure product or platform (or related data platforms, integration, MDM)

The Environment

This role is 100% in person in downtown Fort Lauderdale. You will work directly for our Co-founder and CRO, alongside founders who stay active in selling, and next to our first SDR team as we scale.

You will get direct coaching, live deal support, and real exposure to how Synopsis wins. The pace of learning and execution is high. People who perform get more responsibility quickly.

Our Interview Process

We take hiring seriously. We want to understand how you sell, how you hunt, how you forecast, and how you respond to coaching.

The process may include interviews with leadership, deal reviews, discovery and demo scenarios, live role plays with real-time coaching, behavioral and culture assessments, and an in-person meeting with the team.

Compensation, Growth & Benefits$200,000 OTE (Uncapped)

This role carries a $200,000 on-target earnings opportunity with uncapped variable compensation. If you outperform, we want your pay to reflect it.

Our goal is to create an environment where top-performing AEs can make $500,000+. That is not a guarantee. It is what we are building toward, because we believe the best talent should be compensated for their contributions.

Path to Larger Scope

Synopsis promotes based on merit, performance, and readiness. High performers can take on larger books, more complex deals, and leadership responsibility as the team grows.

World-Class Coaching

You will work directly with a Co-founder / CRO who has built sales organizations and coached thousands of sales professionals. Expect deal coaching, forecast rigor, live feedback, and founder-led selling exposure.

Equity & Benefits

You will have the opportunity to receive equity in Synopsis. Eligible full-time employees also receive company-sponsored insurance and benefits.

One Last Thing

If you've made it this far and you're thinking:

"I can hunt. I can close. I want in."

You're probably the type of person we want to talk to.

If that sounds like you: Apply ASAP.
