Mid-Market Account Executive

About Yardstik

For decades, legacy background screening providers have raised prices on outdated technology while delivering sub-par support to match. Customers deserve better.

So, we started Yardstik.

Yardstik is building the Human Trust Platform, technology that helps organizations continuously verify identity, credentials, and risk before and after hire. In a world where AI has made it easier than ever to fake identities, forge credentials, and exploit hiring systems, point-in-time background checks no longer cut it.

Our approach focuses on transparent partnerships and transformative technology. We help customers run fewer unnecessary checks while saving time, money, and their sanity.

And it’s working. In August 2026 we closed a $30M Series B led by Harbert Growth Partners, bringing total capital raised to $65M. We’ve grown revenue 149% year over year and kept a 98% account-retention rate over the past three years. Founded in 2020 in Minneapolis, Yardstik has been named a Best Place to Work every year since launch.
