You will play a key role in designing, building, and scaling high-performance backend systems. You will take ownership of complex technical solutions, contribute to architectural decisions, and ensure the delivery of secure, robust, and maintainable code aligned with fintech industry standards.

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems using PHP (8.x) and modern frameworks (Symfony).
- Work effectively with both legacy and modern codebases, ensuring stability, performance, and continuous improvement.
- Demonstrate a strong ability to analyze, understand, and maintain code independently, using AI tools as a supporting resourcerather than a primary dependency.
- Architect robust, secure, and high-performing solutions aligned with fintech standards.
- Build and maintain REST APIs, ensuring proper versioning and backward compatibility.
- Optimize database performance (MySQL/MariaDB), including query tuning, schema design, and migrations.
- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines and containerized environments (Docker).
- Ensure code quality through testing strategies (unit, integration, feature tests) and code reviews.
- Apply SOLID principles, design patterns, and clean architecture in everyday development.
- Monitor application performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement optimizations.
- Enforce security best practices (OWASP, secure authentication flows, data protection, GDPR compliance).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Mentor junior and mid-level developers through code reviews and technical guidance.
- Contribute to technical decision-making, challenge requirements constructively, and promote best practices.
