- Proficiency in modern .NET (version 6 or later, including.NET 8) – essential
- 5 or more years of commercial software development experience using C# and the .NET framework, with a track record of delivering and maintaining production systems
- Strong practical experience with ASP.NET Core and RESTful API design (APIs consumed by web, mobile and third-party clients)
- Solid experience with relational databases – PostgreSQL and/or SQL Server – including schema design, query optimization and Entity Framework Core
- Proficiency with Git-based version control (branching strategies, pull requests) and CI/CD pipelines
- Comfortable working in Agile/Scrum and experienced at onboarding to existing codebases through documentation, code reading and structured handover
- Advantageous: experience with cloud-hosted / cloud-native environments, particularly AWS (EC2, RDS, S3 or equivalent) is advantageous.
- Proficiency with Git-based version control workflows, including branching strategies, pull request reviews, and working within a CI/CD pipeline
- Comfortable working within Agile/Scrum delivery frameworks, and experienced in onboarding to existing codebases through documentation review, code reading, and structured handover processes

We
are looking for an experienced .NET Developer to take ownership of a
modern, cloud-ready software platform that supports a **nationally deployed,
mission-critical service**.
Requirements
