About the role
Design, deploy, configure, and manage Riverbed Steelhead appliances and Cisco routing/switching solutions to improve network performance and application acceleration. Monitor and analyze network performance, troubleshoot network issues, and manage network-related incidents using ServiceNow. Perform routine maintenance activities and participate in on-call support rotations for critical incidents.
Key responsibilities
- Design, deploy, configure, and manage Riverbed Steelhead appliances and Cisco routing/switching solutions to improve network performance and application acceleration
- Monitor and analyze network performance using tools such as SolarWinds, ThousandEyes, and The Dude
- Troubleshoot network issues, identify bottlenecks, and perform root cause analysis to minimize downtime and improve service reliability
- Manage network-related incidents, problems, and change requests using ServiceNow (SNOW)
- Perform routine maintenance activities and participate in on-call support rotations for critical incidents (P1/P2)
- Develop and maintain accurate network documentation, including diagrams, configurations, and operational procedures
- Collaborate with cross-functional IT teams to support business and operational requirements
