Northern VA - Business Development Manager

Most sales roles promise "growth" but deliver red tape. At The Budd Group, we don’t do red tape. We provide the platform, the autonomy, and the uncapped upside for hunters who know how to dominate a territory and close complex deals. If you’re a top-tier B2B closer stuck in a stagnant industry, it’s time to pivot to a market disruptor where your hustle is directly reflected in your bank account.

THE PAYOFF: WHY TOP PERFORMERS JOIN US
We know what the 1% looks for. We don’t just offer a "package"; we offer a partnership.

Uncapped Earning Potential: High base salary + a commission structure designed to reward over-performers.
The "Hunter" Toolkit: Car allowance, monthly phone stipend, and the latest tech (Salesforce, laptop, etc.) to ensure you’re winning in the field.
Total Security: Comprehensive benefits package (Health, Dental, Vision, 401k).
Elite Culture: A family-oriented atmosphere with a "win-together" mentality. No corporate silos—just a direct line to leadership and operations.

THE MISSION: REWRITING THE FACILITY STANDARDS
We don’t just "clean buildings." We protect the environments where people work, learn, and innovate. As our Business Development Manager (NoVA Territory), you are the face of a company that is disrupting the facility services industry. You’ll be targeting high-value commercial assets—office complexes, industrial hubs, and educational institutions—positioning The Budd Group as the essential partner in their operational success.

WHO YOU ARE: THE PROFILE OF A CLOSER
We aren’t looking for a "manager" to sit behind a desk. We are looking for a relentless strategist.

The 5-Year Track Record: You have a documented history of smashing quotas in B2B sales. You don't just "hit" numbers; you bury them.
The Natural Prospector: You view a "No" as a request for more information. You’re an expert at navigating past gatekeepers to get face-to-face with C-suite decision-makers.
The Relationship Architect: You don't just close a deal and disappear. You build long-term alliances and leverage networking groups to own your territory.
The Strategist: You excel at consultative selling. You can analyze a client’s pain points and build a complex, value-driven proposal that makes the competition irrelevant.
The Pro: You’re disciplined with your CRM (Salesforce), professional in your presentation, and possess a Bachelor’s degree (or the equivalent "street-smarts" and experience).

THE BATTLEGROUND

Location: Northern Virginia (NoVA).
Your Day-to-Day: Researching high-value targets, conducting high-stakes presentations, and collaborating with our world-class operations team to ensure what you sell is delivered with excellence.
