Job Description:

This position is responsible for ensuring the safety and security of the Greeley college campus and its personnel. Key duties include, but are not limited to: patrolling the campus and its buildings, assisting the campus community with a variety of issues and concerns, providing first response to campus emergencies and disruptions, and managing crowd and traffic control. It is essential to maintain a high level of sensitivity and confidentiality at all times. In the event of an institutional emergency, this position may be required to remain at their work location or report to work to protect, recover, and sustain operations at the College.Job Duties:Patrolling & Call Response:
- Conduct security patrols of campus and College facilities on foot, by patrol car, or bicycle, and provide stationary post duties as assigned.
- Report breaches of security, such as trespassers, to the Security Supervisor and management, and coordinate with local law enforcement as necessary.
- Perform safety escorts for campus community members, including students and staff, to and from vehicles and College facilities upon request.
- Monitor secure areas for unauthorized personnel and patrol college facilities, including parking lots and open spaces, to deter crime and prevent vandalism or theft of school property. Address disruptions caused by physical or verbal conflict between students and visitors to maintain a safe environment.
