Prepares Nutritious Food for Residents/Clients/Staff/Catered Events

Weighs and measures ingredients for quantity cooking
Mixes ingredients according to prescribed amounts and techniques
Prepares meats, vegetables, and other food for cooking according to individual requirements and restrictions
Selects seasonings for better taste
Uses procedures in accordance with roasting, baking, broiling, steaming, and frying techniques
Operates equipment needed in food preparation such as mixer, oven, stove, steamer
Serves on tray line as assigned
Assists in transport of prepared food to other program sites
Responsible for overall menu preparation in a timely manner.

This position is deemed safety-sensitive

High School education or equivalent
Two years quantity cooking experience

Valid AR Driver's License
