STATUS: Full Time/Non-exempt

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in social work or related discipline or;
- Eight years’ experience working with clients in crisis and the strong ability to effectively resolve and cope with immediate crisis situations.
- Experience in working with households inclusive of children under the age of 18

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Interview clients by phone and in person to determine eligibility for emergency assistance
- Interview clients to determine their needs and refer them to the appropriate community agencies and services
- Develop an individual action plan and set goals for each client
