About the role
The Performance Test Engineer helps implement the Bank's non-functional testing strategy, approach, and tooling for its IT systems. The role supports complex cloud and on-premise delivery programs by identifying performance issues and improving testing quality, efficiency, and business value.
Key responsibilities
- Analyze requirements; develop plans, scenarios, cases, strategies, and KPIs with stakeholders
- Run cloud/on-premise tests; analyze results and diagnose performance issues
- Analyze bottlenecks, recommend tuning, assist improvements, and prepare reports
- Continuously improve testing capabilities and produce Bank development documents
- Research technologies, select tools, build platforms, improve quality and efficiency
- Foster collaboration and improvement; uphold bank policies and professional conduct
About you
- 2–5 years of experience in nonfunctional performance, load, stress, and scalability testing
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field
- Knowledge of nonfunctional requirements, testing techniques, and tools (LoadRunner/JMeter/Gatling)
