DESCRIPTION

Vision Quest Solutions is seeking experienced Pharmacists to provide comprehensive pharmacy services at Tohatchi Health Center in Tohatchi, New Mexico.

The Pharmacist will provide professional pharmacy services supporting safe medication use and high-quality patient care while collaborating with physicians, nurses, pharmacy personnel, and other members of the healthcare team.

Key responsibilities include:

Review prescriptions and medication orders for accuracy, appropriateness, interactions, contraindications, and therapeutic effectiveness
Prepare, verify, and dispense medications
Provide medication counseling and education to patients
Provide clinical drug information to healthcare professionals
Support pharmacy operations and medication inventory management
Maintain accurate pharmacy and patient documentation
Promote medication safety and appropriate pharmaceutical care
Assist with pharmaceutical supply management
Support applicable inpatient and outpatient pharmacy functions
Maintain compliance with IHS, federal, pharmacy, and patient-safety requirements
Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare professionals to support patient outcomes
