POSITION TITLE: Picker/Packer (1-6) DEPARTMENT: Install- 1st Shift JOB TYPE: FULL-TIME, NON-EXEMPT REPORTS TO: Nick Robinson / Paola Toral FUNCTION:
Pull and pack hardware and components into bags, boxes, and pallets to ship out product for customer orders.
Responsibilities / Description of Duties:
- Pulling parts for orders
- Scanning part and bin labels accurately for verification of parts
- Wrapping and packing parts for shipping purposes
- Reading paperwork/drawings for item and quantity
- Work toward department schedule
- Picking orders in the sequence determined by group leader
- Maintain organization and accuracy of locations inside the department
- Locations should be replenished
- Trash/plastic thrown away
- Delivery of finished product to the shipping department
- Read a tape measure
- Pick efficiency equal to or higher than average set by the team
- Occasional assembly of items
