Platform Engineer / DevOps Engineer

Are you an experienced Platform Engineer / DevOps Engineer who wants to build secure and scalable cloud platforms?

We are looking for someone who enjoys working hands-on with modern platform technologies, automation, and developer experience in an environment with high standards for security and quality.

This is a long-term consulting assignment with one of our clients in the aerospace and defense industry, where you will play an important role in developing a strategic cloud platform that enables secure, scalable, and efficient software delivery.

You will be employed by Logikfabriken and work as a consultant on an assignment with one of our clients. In this role, you will work as a Platform Engineer / DevOps Engineer, helping to build and further develop a cloud platform that combines OpenStack-based IaaS with modern PaaS and SaaS services.

An important part of the role is to create efficient self-service solutions and provide development teams with the tools and capabilities they need for fast, secure, and scalable software delivery.

TECH AND SKILLS

• Build and maintain OpenStack-based IaaS environments

• Develop self-service solutions for development teams

• Work with Infrastructure as Code (IaC), using tools such as Terraform and Ansible

• Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines

• Apply GitOps principles

• Build and manage container platforms using Kubernetes and Docker

• Work with observability, security, and compliance

• Collaborate closely with agile development teams

• Act as a technical advisor, providing structure, direction, and proposed solutions

• Contribute to automation, platform development, and an improved developer experience

EXPERIENCE

• 5+ years of relevant experience in Platform Engineering, DevOps, or similar roles

• Solid experience working with Linux environments

• Experience with scripting in Bash or Python

• Strong experience with Kubernetes and Docker

• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC), using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or equivalent
