Schwarz Digits (the IT/digital division of Schwarz Group) is hiring a Platform Fullstack Engineer in Barcelona to build internal developer-platform capabilities: self-service tooling, APIs, and micro-frontends that reduce friction for other dev squads. Core stack: .NET Core/Node.js backends, React/TypeScript micro-frontends, Docker/Kubernetes, CI/CD and GitOps (ArgoCD).

Must have
- Advanced skills developing robust, scalable services with .NET Core / C# and Node.js (NestJS / Express)
- Design and consumption of REST APIs applying resilience patterns (circuit breakers, retries, rate limiting)
- Expert-level React / TypeScript or Next.js for complex, modular, high-performance interfaces
- Hands-on experience with Webpack / Vite Module Federation for micro-frontends (shared scopes, error boundaries)
- Management of OIDC / OAuth2 identity and authentication flows plus global/context state management
- Demonstrable Docker experience: image optimization (multi-stage builds) and container security
- Experience deploying and administering applications in Kubernetes clusters (deployments, services, ingresses, configmaps)
- Creation and management of CI pipelines (build automation, unit/integration tests, static analysis, pushing images to Harbor)
- Practical experience with GitOps and Continuous Deployment workflows, preference for ArgoCD
- Experience with automated testing and a shift-left quality culture
- Excellent communication and evangelization skills: communicating architecture decisions, workshops, integration guides
- Autonomy and proactivity: detecting bottlenecks in tooling/developer workflows and implementing quick wins
Nice to have
- AI-assisted development (Gemini, Copilot, Cursor) and building AI agents / conversational interfaces
- Multicloud and Google Cloud Platform experience (Cloud Run, GKE, IAM, Secret Manager) or Azure-to-GCP migration involvement
