About the Role

Aureole is seeking an analytical and results-driven Portfolio Manager to manage a private investment portfolio, oversee trading activities, coordinate settlements and ensure compliance with investment policies.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute fixed-income bids in CBN and DMO auctions for FGN Bonds and Treasury Bills.
• Manage NGX equity orders through SEC-registered stockbrokers.
• Support foreign currency allocations and international investment holdings.
• Coordinate trade settlements with custodians, brokers and financial institutions.
• Ensure compliance with Delivery versus Payment (DvP) settlement procedures.
• Prepare portfolio valuation dashboards, yield reports and market analysis.
• Monitor asset allocation, investment limits, duration targets and currency exposure.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Actuarial Science, Accounting or a related quantitative field.
• 5–7 years' experience in institutional asset management, bank treasury trading or portfolio management.
• Direct experience with CBN/DMO auctions, FMDQ OTC trading and NGX equity orders.
• Familiarity with institutional custody platforms.
• CFA, CIS, ACA or ACCA qualification, or active candidacy, is strongly preferred.
