The Team
Cundall's Data, Digital team enables digital innovation, data-led working, automation and responsible adoption of artificial intelligence across our global engineering consultancy.
We have an exciting opportunity for a Power Platform & Copilot Platform Architect to join our growing capability. The role may be based in Poland or Romania, with the working arrangement agreed in line with Cundall's local employment and office requirements.
The Role
We are looking for an experienced Power Platform & Copilot Platform Architect to own and develop Cundall's enterprise Microsoft Power Platform and Copilot Studio capability. You will provide the technical architecture, environment strategy, governance, application lifecycle management and integration framework required to safely scale Power Apps, Power Automate and AI agents across the organisation.
This is not solely an application development role. You will act as the technical bridge between experimentation and supported production services, helping teams progress promising ideas into secure, scalable, maintainable and monitored business solutions. You will work closely with Data & Digital, IT, Enterprise Architecture, Azure and Cloud, Information Security, Data Protection, AI Governance and business stakeholders across Cundall.
Responsibilities:
- Own and develop the enterprise architecture for Power Platform and Copilot Studio, including environments, Dataverse, Power Apps, Power Automate, connectors and supporting services
- Define and maintain environment strategies covering personal maker, sandbox, development, test, pilot and production use, including appropriate security boundaries and production segregation
- Administer and govern the Copilot and agent platform, maintaining visibility of ownership, purpose, environment, users, data sources, connectors, authentication, dependencies, usage, cost and review status
- Establish lifecycle controls for apps, flows and agents from experimentation through pilot, production, monitoring, change and retirement
- Define and operate application lifecycle management practices using solutions, source control, deployment pipelines, managed deployments, environment variables, approvals, release records and rollback arrangements
- Design and assure integrations using approved APIs, custom connectors, Dataverse, SharePoint, Microsoft Graph, Azure services and other enterprise systems
- Implement and maintain governance and security controls, including data loss prevention policies, connector classification, permissions, Entra groups, security roles, service identities, secrets management, auditability and external sharing controls
