- 15+ years of experience in software development for FPGA or ASIC EDA software.
- Deep familiarity with commercial FPGA tools and operation flow.

Lattice Semiconductor is seeking a Principal EDA engineer to join the EDA tools development team in Pune. This position is an opportunity to be part of a dynamic team with ample opportunity to contribute, learn and grow.
Accountabilities:
- Responsible for development and architecture of Lattice EDA toolchain covering synthesis, place & route and timing analysis.
- Collaborate with Place & Route, Timing, Database & GUI teams to deliver a high quality and standards compliant EDA stack.
- Starting from Marketing requirements, help frame the architectural & engineering specification for new features and ensure that the actual implementation satisfies marketing requirements.
- Maintain high standards of architecture-quality, performance, and reliability.
- Own Spec and Plan process for EDA suite and contribute to the same for P&R & Timing tool components.
