Principal Product Manager – Product Release This position is based in Seattle, WA
Oracle’s Product Release vision is to turn a complex release journey into an integrated, AI-assisted product experience that helps teams bring products to customers faster. We are building capabilities that connect product definition, engineering readiness, commercial workflows, and verified customer use for eligible release paths while maintaining Oracle’s standards and obligations.
The Oracle Product Release team is looking for an experienced and motivated Principal Product Manager to translate this vision into products that teams use. You will own product strategy, roadmap, requirements, and delivery for capabilities that simplify release execution and accelerate time to market across Oracle. This role requires a product builder with strong technical judgment and practical AI bias. You will understand the entire release journey, identify the problems worth solving, and turn them into clear product requirements and incremental releases. Working closely with engineering, design, Product Managers, and specialist organizations, you will own the vision that drives a simplified user experience and bring together interfaces, APIs, enterprise integrations, reusable AI skills, and workflow automation.
- Own the Product Release product vision and inform the roadmap by identifying opportunities to deliver new capabilities through emerging technologies, including AI.
- Own and execute the Product Release product strategy and roadmap, translating the vision into prioritized capabilities, clear requirements, and delivered products.
- Lead product discovery with Product Managers, engineering teams, and release stakeholders to identify customer needs, bottlenecks, and opportunities for simplification.
- Define and incorporate AI-specific control requirements into product capabilities and release criteria, including evaluation, data protection, traceability, human oversight, and ongoing monitoring.
- Translate complex release requirements into usable product capabilities, including shared product definitions, release criteria, dependency visibility, decision records, and readiness evidence.
- Partner with engineering and design on architecture and implementation tradeoffs, balancing customer value, technical feasibility, reliability, security, and delivery speed.
- Apply practical knowledge of AI models, agents, tools, and evaluation methods to build reliable capabilities, with clear boundaries for automation, human judgment, and approvals.
- Define and measure product outcomes, including release time, first-pass completeness, adoption, committed-date delivery, and release-attributable customer issues.
- Represent the product roadmap and strategy to users, collaborators, and executive stakeholders, and create the guidance needed for successful adoption.
