Full description
At Hidden Level, we’re building the future of airspace awareness through cutting-edge RF sensing technology. Our mission is to make the world safer—whether it’s protecting troops, securing infrastructure, or enabling smarter cities. We design, manufacture, and deploy advanced sensor systems that deliver real-time insights for defense and commercial applications.
Position Overview:
Hidden Level is seeking a Principal Product Manager to own the strategy, roadmap, requirements, and lifecycle of RF sensor products. This individual will translate customer and market needs into product development priorities and lead cross-functional collaboration from early concept and development through production, deployment, sustainment, and continuous improvement. This will ensure that Hidden Level's sensor products deliver differentiated customer value while remaining technically achievable, manufacturable, supportable, and aligned with the broader product portfolio and company vision.
Location:
This role is ideally hybrid in Syracuse, NY, but we are open to considering remote candidates.
Responsibilities:
Develop and Maintain a Product Roadmap throughout the Product Lifecycle:
- Own the product vision, strategy, roadmap, and priorities for your Hidden Level sensor product
- Engage customers, operators, and internal stakeholders to understand missions, workflows, and unmet needs.
- Partner with Sales and Growth leaders to combine customer and market needs with technical and business objectives to create clear product development priorities and measures of success
- Ensure the sensor roadmap remains aligned to adjacent products and the broader Hidden Level portfolio.
Manage the Execution of Product Development Objectives:
- Partner with Technical Program Managers and Engineering leaders to turn product priorities into executable plans and deliver agreed capabilities on schedule and within budget.
- Work closely with Engineering leaders to shape and understand the technical solutions that deliver product objectives.
- Work with Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Quality, and Operations to design for manufacturability, testability, reliability, serviceability, and cost, and to transition products successfully into production.
- Help prioritize development, manufacturing, quality, and sustaining-engineering needs based on customer impact, delivery risk, and business objectives.
Provide Broader Product Leadership:
- Communicate product direction, decisions, status, tradeoffs, and risk clearly across technical, executive, and customer-facing teams.
- Bridge technical and business objectives by supporting proposals, requests for information, and other strategic growth efforts.
