Must have
- 12+ years of professional experience in frontend engineering with modern JavaScript/TypeScript
- Experience with at least one major framework (React, Vue, or Angular)
- Proven experience building and shipping consumer-facing mobile experiences via React Native / native iOS/Android or web clients embedded in mobile game flows
- Deep expertise in client-side performance engineering: rendering optimisation, state management at scale, bundle size discipline, and low-latency real-time UI (WebSockets / event-driven updates)
- Strong experience with component architecture, design systems, and cross-platform consistency
- Experience integrating against distributed, multi-tiered backend services
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a technical field of study, or equivalent industry experience
- Able to work in-office 3 days a week in Bangalore, India

The Principal Software Engineer - FE, is expected to do the following

Strategic Technical Leadership: Lead the design and evolution of the frontend architecture for our Native(Android and IOS), Web and React Native-based products, ensuring scalability, performance, security, and maintainability.

Elevate the React Native SDK Experience: Own the development and continuous improvement of our Native components and React Native SDK for third-party game developers, enabling seamless integration with the Skillz platform.

Mentorship & Talent Development: They will mentor lead, senior and mid-level engineers, raising the overall technical bar and creating a culture of engineering excellence in frontend.
