The Role:

We are looking for an experienced Software engineer to join our team, leading the design, development, and delivery of our highly scalable web applications in the cloud.

Skills set

• BE: C#, ASP.NET, NodeJS
• Frontend: JavaScript or TypeScript, React.js, HTML, CSS, JQuery, Bootstrap, StoryBook, cross-browser compatibility (Frontend skills are good to have)
• Backend: S3, AWS (Services)
• Systems: Kubernetes, Docker, Jenkins
• Good to have: GraphQL, Webpack, Jest, SQL

Your role

Solera engineers are trusted with the responsibility of designing and developing software that embraces quality and reliability while delivering performance across all platforms. Your role will be to spearhead these efforts and be a leader and mentor for others on the engineering team, specifically by

• Designing and developing services and applications that enable all Solera products and solutions.
• Strong experience with microservices architecture patterns
• Proven track record of building cloud-native applications
• Partnering with front-end, data, product, QA, operations, and other technical team leads in design, test, release planning, and coordination.
• Mentoring engineers in technologies, patterns, and best practices while leading by example in your areas of expertise
• Diagnosing, characterizing, and addressing performance, scale, and cross-platform stability issues
• Leading design reviews and code reviews for components and systems
• Prototyping and championing new technology introductions to the platform
• Effectively representing our technical capabilities and strategies to diverse internal teams, as well as to external partners and customers

What we’re looking for

• BS degree in Computer Science (or related field) or equivalent experience
• Expert in modern software development practices in multiple languages and environments
• 12+ years of strong development and technical leadership experience
