Product Designer

At Parallel, we build AI agents that help healthcare organizations automate their administrative processes and unlock additional revenue, starting with medical coding.

Today, up to 25% of healthcare spending is lost to manual, repetitive administrative tasks. Legacy software hasn't helped: it has made work slower, more complex and more frustrating for care teams.

We believe AI agents can change this. Our technology combines large language models with system-level automation to do real work inside existing hospital tools. No integration, no disruption.

Our first agent automates coding and frees up time for medical teams to focus on patients.

We launched in 2024 and already have 800+ customers and a team of 30+ people. We are backed by top-tier investors (Index Ventures, Y Combinator, Hexa, Frst, Kima Ventures, Better Angle and the CEO of Mistral AI), and this is just the beginning.

The future of healthcare isn't just digital, it's automated. Come help us build it!

Context

We’re looking for a Product Designer to join our first Designer on Parallel’s design: the app used every day by hospital coding teams, as well as the brand. You’ll work daily with Product Managers, Engineers and the Ops team.

You’ll work on complex, domain-specific topics, with demanding users.

Your mission

• Own product improvements end to end, including some product management: understand the need, frame and define the problem, prioritize, design the solution, then follow it through to production. You own the whole chain, from the need to delivery.

• Design the app’s interfaces, from user flows to final UI.

• Prototype quickly, including by coding with tools like Claude or Cursor when that’s the most efficient way.

• Push code to production.

• Contribute to branding.

Who you are

• You have 4 to 7 years of experience.

• You have experience as a strongly product-minded Product Designer, gained in a B2B SaaS startup or scale-up.

• You have high standards for the visual quality of interfaces.

• You can take on product management topics.

• You want to work on the brand as well.

• You use tools like Claude or Cursor to speed up your work.

Our values

• Play to Win: we don’t aim for “good enough”. We go for results, move fast and fully commit when it matters.

• High Trust, High Standards: trust is our starting point. The more autonomy we give, the higher the bar.

• Low Ego, Hands-On: no one is above the work that needs doing, whatever their title or experience.

• Don’t Take Yourself Too Seriously: we take our mission very seriously, without taking ourselves too seriously.

Hiring process

• First call with the recruiting team (30 min)

• Interview with Théo, about your portfolio or past experience (30 min)

• Case study and meetings at our Paris office

• Reference checks

• Offer

Why should you join us?

• Real impact: our agents free hospital teams from administrative work.

• A role that shapes the product: your work goes straight into the app hospitals use.

• Competitive compensation: salary and equity (BSPCE).

• A great place to work: bright offices in Paris, regular team moments and two offsites a year.

• Full benefits: health insurance, meal vouchers, transport coverage, training and wellbeing budgets.

We care about who you are, not just what's on your CV.

If you're drawn to what we're building but don't meet every requirement, we still want to hear from you. Studies show that women in particular tend to apply only when they meet 100% of the criteria. If that's you, please don't let that hold you back. We'd love to receive your application.
