About the Role:

We are seeking a highly driven Product Owner - Defence Technologies to bridge customer needs, business objectives, and engineering execution across our counter-drone and defence technology platforms. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys understanding complex technologies, translating operational challenges into actionable product requirements, and working closely with engineering teams to deliver high-impact solutions. You will play a key role in defining product requirements, driving execution, coordinating stakeholders, and ensuring successful product delivery from concept through deployment.

Product Definition & Requirements Management:

• Gather and understand customer, operational, and stakeholder requirements

• Translate user needs into clear product requirements, specifications, and acceptance criteria

• Define product features, use cases, workflows, and user stories

• Support the development of product roadmaps, release plans, and feature prioritization

• Create and maintain Product Requirement Documents (PRDs) and functional specifications

Customer & Market Understanding:

• Conduct customer interactions, field visits, demonstrations, and operational assessments

• Understand user challenges and convert insights into product opportunities

• Perform market, competitor, and technology research

• Evaluate emerging technologies and industry trends relevant to defence and counter-UAS systems

Product Execution & Delivery:

• Work closely with engineering teams to ensure requirements are clearly understood and implemented

• Manage backlog creation, and sprint planning activities

• Track product development progress and proactively remove execution blockers

• Participate in design reviews, testing, validation, and deployment activities

• Ensure delivered solutions align with customer and business objectives

Cross-Functional Coordination:

• Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, operations, supply chain, and business teams

• Support planning and execution of field trials, demonstrations, and deployments

• Drive stakeholder alignment throughout the product lifecycle

• Facilitate communication between technical and non-technical teams

Product Validation & Continuous Improvement:

• Define and monitor product success metrics and KPIs

• Support verification, validation, and acceptance testing activities

• Gather user feedback and identify opportunities for product enhancement

• Participate in root cause investigations for product issues and field failures

Qualifications & Skills:Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Technology, Business Management, or related disciplines

• 2 - 5 years of experience in Product Management, Product Ownership, Systems Engineering, Business Analysis, Project Engineering, or Technical Program Management

Technical & Functional Skills:

• Strong analytical and structured problem-solving abilities

• Ability to understand and discuss technical concepts with engineering teams

• Experience creating PRDs, user stories, workflows, and feature specifications

• Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional coordination skills

• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills

• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Experience:

Experience in one or more of the following domains: Defence Systems, UAV and Drone Technologies, Aerospace, Automotive, Industrial Automation, Robotics, Embedded Systems, Electronics Products, Enterprise or Industrial Software Products, Infrastructure and Mission-Critical Systems
