Howmet Aerospace is currently looking a Metal Workcell to join our Dover Casting group in Dover, New Jersey.
The work hours for this Afternoon and Midnight Shifts are Sunday Night - Thursday Night 11:00PM - 7:00AM and Monday-Friday 3:00PM-11:00PM.
Training will occur on day shift Monday - Friday 7AM - 3PM for several weeks.
New Hire Starting Hourly Rate: $25.00 After 12 Months: $27.71
Position will receive an hourly "shift premium" while assigned to an off shift

POSITION OVERVIEW
Workcell Operators dimensionally inspect and repair castings and visually inspect casting to customer specifications.
ENVIORNMENTAL HEALTH & SAFETY RESPONSIBILITES
- Expected to assist in the implementation of EHS Values and policy statements and accompanying principals.
- Comply with all department, facility, corporate and regulatory EHS regulations.
- Wear all required personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Report all job related illness and injuries (Per Employee Handbook).
- Report all safety, health and environmental concerns to your supervisor in a timely manner.
- Attend all EHS training.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Performs 100% visual inspection as required per job instructions and pass a written visual test.
- Performs belting, stoning, buffing operations to remove visual imperfections beyond customer specifications.
- Responsible for visual integrity & gaging & repair of pitch, chord width, & trailing edge thickness
- Dimensionally inspects and repairs castings by any of the following methods: Hammering, arboring, twisting, stoning, belting, buffing and drilling.
