Program Manager - Business Operations & Retail Strategy

Program Manager - Business Operations & Retail Strategy

Company: Lenskart | Function: Central Operations

Reports To: GM - Central Operations & Strategy | Location: Gurgaon | Band: Manager

Role Summary:

Owns business planning and sales strategy for a set of stores across Lenskart's 2,700+ store network. Converts performance data into AOP inputs and sales excellence programs, working closely with regional leaders (ZM/AOM) and tech teams to drive revenue growth and productivity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Business Planning: Own the store-level business plan - revenue, footfall, conversion, ATV targets. Drive structured WBR/MBR reviews with AOMs/ZMs to diagnose performance trends, agree on corrective actions, and ensure consistent follow-through.

• Sales Strategy & Excellence: Identify what drives sales performance across stores - category mix, staffing productivity, merchandising, local demand patterns - and build strategies to close gaps.

• AOP Planning: Lead ground-up input into the Annual Operating Plan. Translate store and regional trends into realistic, ambitious targets, and track performance against AOP through the year.

• Program Management: Design and run structured programs (incentive schemes, productivity drives, category push programs, staffing/training interventions) tied to sales outcomes. Own program governance - timelines, adoption, impact tracking.

• Tech Partnership & Product Enablement: Partner with tech and product stakeholders to identify productivity bottlenecks and co-build tools/products (dashboards, automation, store-facing apps) that improve store efficiency and decision-making speed.

• Revenue Enablement: Partner with ZM/AOM leaders to unblock store-level constraints (staffing, merchandising, service levels) that hold back revenue. Maintain a region-wise tracker of enablement initiatives and their impact.

• Long-Term Growth: Bring forward-looking recommendations - new categories, productivity levers, market-specific strategies - beyond the current year's plan.

What You Bring:

• 4 - 8 years in business/program management, retail strategy, or sales operations (consulting, e-commerce, or retail background preferred).

• Strong Excel/Sheets skills; Power BI or SQL is a bonus.

• Demonstrated ability to convert data into concrete business programs with measurable impact.

• Experience or strong interest in working with tech/product teams to build productivity-focused solutions.

• Comfortable driving alignment across regional and cross-functional teams without formal authority.

Key Stakeholders:

ZMs/AOMs, Central Operations, Circle Heads, Analytics, Finance (AOP), Category & Merchandising, Warehouse Team, Tech & Product
